8th Grade Movin' On Events - Thursday, June 8
Students report at 9:30 to Edgewood HS for ceremony, to start at 10:00. Picnic and dance to follow back at Hamilton.  More details will be provided via the homeroom teacher.
**Movin' On informational letter and tickets have been mailed, if you have not received these items, please contact your student's Homeroom Teacher.
School Announcements
Personalized Pathways Meeting
Join us Thursday at 6:00 p.m., for an informational meeting on Personalized Pathways. This meeting will provide parents/students an opportunity to learn about the Pathways approach, its benefits for students, and provide additional resources so families can discuss and consider the option over summer.  Current 7th grade parents and students will have the opportunity to apply in the fall for West High School's Health Services pathway for when they are Freshmen in the fall of 2018.  Current 6th grade parents and students will discuss future opportunities in pathways.
Crossing Guard Announcement for Fall, 2017
Hamilton was recently notified that the City of Madison is moving forward with recommending the discontinuation of adult crossing guards at the intersection of Mineral Point and Midvale for next school year.  Families interested in voicing their opinion are invited to attend the Pedestrian - Bicycle - Motor Vehicle Commission's meeting on Tuesday, May 23.  The meeting begins at 5:00 p.m. and will be held at the City County Building, 210 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Room 201.  (The meeting begins at 5:00 pm, but what time this item will be taken up by the committee is not yet determined.  For more information on the study conducted, please view these documents.  Cover sheet  Study
MSCR - After school Programming/ Clubs
After school clubs are now over for the school year!  We hope all students enjoyed the various activities!
Did you know?
Hamilton Middle School has been selected by MMSD to be a one-to-one school in the fall!  What this means is that in October all Hamilton students will have their own Chromebooks to use in the classroom for instructional purposes.  For more information, please read this note.
8th Grade Movin' On Help Needed!
The 8th grade Movin'On ceremony, student lunch, and dance will be 
June 8th. The PTO and the Movin'On Committee is in need of food, supplies and cash donations and there are many volunteer opportunities to help decorate and set up the cafeteria, serve food, chaperone, and clean up available.  If you are able to help with any of this, please go to the Movin'On SignUp Genius at: and help make it a fantastic day for our Movin'On 8th graders!  If you have any questions, please contact Sarah Kraak-Ripple at sarahkripple@gmail.comThank you!
