Science Olympiad Meeting Thursday
Meeting is for all team members, after school in the LMC!  Mrs. Vogel is expecting all students participating in the March 1, Hamilton, in-house competition, to be at the meeting.  Contact Mrs. Vogel with any questions.
Upcoming Parent Connect Sessions
Parent Connect is new to Hamilton this year! During this meeting we will be providing
information on a variety of topics, but it is also a time to mingle with other Hamilton parents and ask questions.  Student Services will be hosting this meeting every month from 6:30-7:30 p.m., and they will be held in Hamilton's LMC. Advisory is a fun way for students to start their day. They build relationships in an inclusive community, develop social and emotional skills and create their own
Academic and Career Plan (ACP) .  Advisory is 30 minutes long on Early Release Mondays and 20 minutes on all other days.

Club News
Ski Club Refunds!!
Ski Club participantsSki club refunds will be available for pick up beginning 
Tuesday, Feb. 21, until Friday, Feb 24, before and after school.  Tuesday they will be available at all lunch times also.  See the posted sheet on the Ski Club poster to see if you qualified for one.  See Mrs. Guse if you have questions.
Rec Program
Rec is a drop-in program (no prior sign-up needed) and takes place after clubs:  3:30-5:00.  Students must attend a Club or be working with a teacher in order to attend Rec. (No Rec takes place on Fridays during the school year.)  Rec and transportation home at 5:00 are free of charge for students who participate. 

Any changes in Club activities (such as cancellations) will be announced to students during Daily Announcements. Families can access these announcements through Hamilton's webpage.  Questions regarding Clubs should be directed to Kris Anderson.

Benefit Event with the Madison Capitols: Saturday, March 11 at 7:05 pm. The Madison Capitols invite Hamilton Middle School community out for a fun night at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum (at the Alliant Energy Center) to watch the Madison Capitols face off against the Tri-City Storm. Tickets for students, friends, and family just $12. A portion of the proceeds comes back to Hamilton PTO! For tickets and information, visit
Multicultural Night: Mark your calendar for Multicultural Night, Friday, March 246-8 p.m.  Multicultural Night is a PTO-sponsored event devoted to celebrating the cultural diversity within our school community. The night includes a potluck dinner and a cultural program so that we can learn more about the cultural traditions and heritage of our friends and classmates.
The committee is looking for students who want to contribute to the cultural program with a performance of some kind. Fill out the form here: to volunteer and either email the form to or turn it in to Mrs. Sato at school - THE DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO FEBRUARY 20!
