8th Grade Graduation is just around the corner!
The end of the year is fast approaching and we are in need of parents who are interested in helping with the 8th grade Movin' On activities. There are many opportunities for you to help and make a difference to make this last day at Hamilton for our 8th grade students a special one.June 8, begins with a ceremony in the morning at Edgewood high school (our spaces at Hamilton are too small to hold the event). There is a lunch and dance later around noon. Everything ends when school ends. Traditionally, parents have run the lunch and dance. We need volunteers to organize the food for the lunch and dance, make donations of food for the event, help chaperone and set up, decorate, stay for clean-up, help with set up before the ceremony at Edgewood and help with making a video for the event. There are notes from past years to help make the running of this event a smooth and easy way for you to be involved at any level. Please respond to Sarah Ripple at  Sarahkripple@gmail.com and let us know how you would like to be involved in this very special day.

Hamilton Follies Coming Soon!!
Hello Hamilton parents, Follies is next month on April 26th! This is Hamilton Middle School's chance to show off their talent! We need a few parents to help.  We need help with auditions (April 18th and 19th after school), dress rehearsal (April 24th and 25th after school), preparation of the show order/program, and "crowd control" back and front stage on the night of the show (available starting at 6 pm). You don't have to be available for all of these times or for the whole time each day. You also do not need any singing or acting experience, our kids take care of that. Please consider helping us out in any way you can. It is really fun!! We are especially appealing to 6th and 7th grade parents, as we want to be able to pass the Follies torch on to the next generation, though all helping hands are appreciated.  Questions? Contact Cathy Auger, cauger6@gmail.com, or Melissa Scholz, mmascholz@gmail.com, (608) 852-5043).
